This scholarship did not work out at all for my son. He had worked on the application earlier. On Feb. 29th, the day it was due, about 10pm he logged in to finish his activities. It took 5 minutes to log into the site. Then it took 5 minutes after he entered an activity. It would not save it. After a half hour he gave up. I guess we can chalk that up to waiting to the last minute to finish it. He's in his 3rd year at Covenant College. It was mid-term week. But it goes to show, don't wait until the last minute! In this economy, there must have been tons of students on that website trying for the big scholarship. I would think Buick's website could accomodate a hugh amount of students, but not 2 hours before the deadline.

I am so sorry to hear that Linda! It is so true that students need to submit scholarships early (both online and by mail) because of delays and overloaded websites. When my high school junior applied for a scholarship a few weeks ago, the instructions advised students to submit online at least a week early because of high traffic the last few days the scholarship was due. I always "change" the date the application is due and make my kids have everything done and submitted at least a week early. It's just good habit to get into while applying for scholarships.

That's a great idea. However, my son and I divided up some of the scholarship applications to work on. That scholarship was one his physics professor sent him, so he was working on it. I can't fool him on those!
