It's so tempting to spend your time and energy entering "promotional" scholarship drawings and contests.

If you want to win college scholarships, you NEED to MAKE the time to write the essays that are required in most quality scholarship applications. Most students back away from writing scholarship essays, so that makes your competition less and your chances of winning greater. But wait! There is more good news! You can use many of your essays over again, in different scholarship applications! Make sure you pay attention to word count though!
